Wu-Tan's proud tradition was brought to Oslo by Shifu Paolo Castaneda, head instructor at Oslo Wu-Tan.

Welcome to Oslo Wu-Tan

Oslo Wu-Tan is a Chinese Guoshu (Kung Fu) club located in Oslo, Norway. We offer instruction in authentic Northern Praying Mantis Boxing, as well as some Long Fist, Bagua and Tai Ji Quan. The club is associated with the Wu-Tan Chinese Martial Arts Association. Oslo Wu-Tan was founded by Shifu Paolo Castaneda, a disciple of Grandmaster Kurt Wong, in March of 2003. Paolo currently recides in Denmark, classes are currently run by his Senior students.

The club promotes a friendly atmosphere where people come to learn martial arts and also learn about Wu-Tan's culture, history, and philosophy.
Original Chinese martial art training takes dedication, time and many times frustration, so our students are expected to work hard, and stay focused in class. The instructors will focus on you as an individual and give the personal feedback you need to excel.
We encourage everybody to work together to improve their skills and develop a positive attitude in regards to training, in order to better ourselves as martial artists.

The secret to excelling in guoshu is hard work and time.

The goal of Oslo Wu-Tan is to promote the traditions of Great Grandmaster Liu Yun-Qiao in Oslo, Norway. It is our hope that we may share our guoshu tradition and educate the public on Chinese martial arts. We welcome everyone to come try out our training.
