Our Styles

In Oslo Wu-Tan, we currently teach Praying Mantis Boxing.

Practicing basic lines

We also practice Chen Taijiquan, but we are currently not teaching Taijiquan in our classes.

In the children's class, the children are first taught Long Fist, and then move on to basic Praying Mantis Boxing after a while.

There are various guoshu styles that are taught under the Wu-Tan umbrella. Because of GM Liu’s desire to preserve the old martial arts of China, he encouraged many of his students to teach their respective styles at Wu-Tan. So various Wu-Tan schools curriculum may slightly differ depending on whom they studied from initially. Though this may be the case, Wu-Tan is united under GM Liu’s three core styles:

Usually, baji, pigua, and bagua are not taught publicly and reserved only for closed-door students.
